Randy and his extended family have lived in Blount County for many years. Randy went to school at Everett HS in Maryville and The University of Tennessee Knoxville. After college he joined Delta Airlines where he worked in Sales & Marketing ultimately managing Delta's Dream Vacations program worldwide.
Randy's father, Robert E. Temple, was the founder of the Smoky Mountain Passion Play and a Presbyterian minister. Randy's mother, Nancy Temple, was assistant to the superintendent of Maryville City Schools for 27 years.
Randy and his wife, Pam, reside in Maryville. They have three daughters and teach 5th grade Sunday school at Fairview United Methodist Church where they are members. Randy serves on Fairview's Children's Council committee and chairs the Activities and Civic Service Committee for the Boy Scouts of America Tuckaleechee District of Blount County. Randy loves the many outdoor activities this area offers including, photography, hiking, water skiing, and motorcycle riding.
Randy has always enjoyed real estate, buying and selling numerous properties during his time with Delta. He recently joined the Realty Executives Associates group as a full-time REALTOR with the goal of helping guide clients, whether buying or selling, through today's ever more complicated foreclosures, short sales, bank owned properties, auctions, and typical real estate transactions. He recently completed his SFR Designation (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource). The National Association of REALTORS offers the SFR certification to REALTORS who want to help both buyers and sellers navigate these complicated transactions, as demand for professional expertise with distressed sales grows. Less than 3% of Realtors nationwide hold this designation.
